Each year there are two meetings held, one with the International representatives of the participating unions and the second with local representatives of each location and international representatives. These meetings are used to confer on both company and union issues dealing with contractual and business subject matter.
Collective Bargaining
The Cytec International Presidents Committee met last week in Anaheim, California with the Human Resources leadership of Cytec Industries to discuss business plans, new company initiatives and membership concerns. The Cytec IPC is one of the more established coordination’s that the IAM participates in with the United Steelworker, International Brotherhood of Teamsters, International Chemical Workers Union and International Union of Operating Engineers.
