Accurate accounts and precise records are the hallmark of the IAM’s Secretary-Treasurer Department. Paying bills, tracking investments and maintaining membership records is not very exciting work. But it is absolutely vital work. Without the GST Department’s dedication and attention to detail, the IAM simply would not be the financially strong, independent and vibrant union that it is today.
