Director of Organizing, George Myers

For the past 37 years, George Myers has been an IAM activist.  While working his way up from Assembler Trainee to Journeyman Maintenance Millwright at Allis-Chalmers, George also found time to be an active member of the union.  Within two years of hiring into Allis-Chalmers, George was elected shop steward of his local, IAM Local Lodge 1400 which later split into two locals.

Special Representative Mike Rose

Mike Rose joined the International Woodworkers of America (IWA) in 1980 after being hired at International Paper Company in Reedsport OR where he served as shop steward and chief steward.

Grand Lodge Representative Don Barker

Don Barker was initiated into Local Lodge 776A in July 1986 as a production worker for General Dynamics (now Lockheed Martin) in Fort Worth, Texas.

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I entered the workforce in 1977 at age 18. The company manufactured compressor valves and components.

Greg was initiated into IAM Local Lodge #660, East Alton, IL in May of 1976 after hiring in at Olin Corporation, East Alton, Illinois; home of Olin Brass, Inc, and Winchester Ammunition.

Grand Lodge Representative, Steven Hantzis

Steve Hantzis began working his first union job in 1968 while attending Indiana University.  He worked summers and weekends at Roadway Express in Indianapolis and became an alternate steward for Teamsters Local 135.

Originally from Lazaro Cardenas Michocan Mexico, Macario Camorlinga came to the United States in 1985. Soon after, Macario started working as a machine operator at the American Racing Corporation and he and his co-workers realized that they needed to make a drastic change in the way the company treated them.

Grand Lodge Representative, Bob Anderson

Bob Anderson was appointed as a Special Representative assigned to the IAM Organizing Dept. in early 1997 and became a Grand Lodge Representative in 2001.  Anderson worked as a full time organizer for District Lodge 121 for 1996 and  part of 1997 as well as participating in various organizing projects prior to that.
