Director of Organizing, George Myers
For the past 37 years, George Myers has been an IAM activist. While working his way up from Assembler Trainee to Journeyman Maintenance Millwright at Allis-Chalmers, George also found time to be an active member of the union. Within two years of hiring into Allis-Chalmers, George was elected shop steward of his local, IAM Local Lodge 1400 which later split into two locals.Special Representative Mike Rose
Mike Rose joined the International Woodworkers of America (IWA) in 1980 after being hired at International Paper Company in Reedsport OR where he served as shop steward and chief steward.
