The Building and Wood Workers International (BWI) is headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland and represents 10 million members from 287 unions in 124 countries working in the building, wood, forestry and allied sectors.  Established in 1934, the IFBWW conducts workers education programs, carries out research on industry issues and represents its affiliate interests at world meetings.
