Meet the Staff of Trade and Globalization

The Trade & Globalization Department represents the IAM on foreign trade matters and promotes labor rights for workers in every country. Corporations will continue to send American jobs overseas until workers in all countries have the right to organize; the right to bargain collectively; have equal opportunity; a safe work environment; and are free from forced and child labor. The IAM maintains affiliations with the major labor federations such as the International Metalworkers' Federation (IMF), the International Transport Workers' Federation (ITF), and the Building and Wood Workers' International (BWI).
