The 2010 MLK Celebration not only commemorated the life of Dr. King, but it also celebrated the anniversary of the first lunch counter sit-ins. The three surviving college students joined the attendees for the events and AFL-CIO Executive Vice President Arlene Holt-Baker delivered an eleoquent and moving speach calling on the labor movement to fight for good paying jobs that would benefit all working Americans.
