IAM Mourns Passing of GLR Frank Forgione

Longtime IAM activist and GLR Frank Forgione passed away April 30 after more than 40 years of service to the IAM. 

Forgione joined Local 1363, District 54 in Cleveland, OH, while employed at Associated Transport in 1963. He was elected Shop Steward that same year. In 1979, Frank was appointed Special Representative, and became a Grand Lodge Representative in 1983.

"Brother Forgione served our members well during his career," said Eastern Territory GVP Lynn D. Tucker, Jr. “His wealth of knowledge and background in NLRB board work, organizing and negotiations furthered the cause of working men and women everywhere. He will be deeply missed.”
