Midwest Territory GVP Philip J. Gruber recently met with U.S. Vice President Joe Biden and Missouri Secretary of State Robin Carnahan at an event in St. Louis, MO.
Biden was recently appointed by President Obama to chair the “Middle Class Task Force,” a panel that will propose laws, policies and executive orders aimed at expanding education and training opportunities, improving work and family balance, restoring labor and workplace safety standards and protecting retirement security.
In speaking with GVP Gruber, the Vice President proudly said he’s enjoyed the support of the Machinists Union for the last 37 years. Caranhan also has a solid relationship with organized labor in Missouri and is running for the U.S. Senate seat being vacated by Senator Kit Bond.
