8/23/05: Simulator Technicians at L3 Communications, Link Simulation and Training at Luke AFB in Glendale, AZ ratified their first collective bargaining agreement Sunday night, August 21.
The three-year agreement became effective Monday, August 22 and includes pay increases from 10.7 percent to 42.7 percent over the life of the agreement, benefit accrual increases and 401-K match.
The first agreement for the new Local Lodge 519 members also includes, seniority, union security, check-off, grievance and arbitrations processes, shift premiums, sick leave, education reimbursements and vacation improvements.
Danny Jenkins was elected by his fellow technicians at L3 Communications to serve as their IAM representative at the bargaining table, he was assisted by Western Territory Special Representative Matt McKinnon.
