First Agreements Reached

July 20, 2005: District Lodge 4 successfully negotiated two first agreements at Andrews Air Force Base. This brings the total number of first agreements in the Eastern Territory to seven for the year.

The first is with Dyncorp LLC, a site with Navy C-12, 5 Aircraft Mechanics.  Contract highlights include a $4.10 hourly wage increase, IAM Pension plan, and four percent increase in fringe benefits.

The second is with Trend Western, a unit with 86 aircraft fueling and servicing employees.  Contract highlights include a $1.93 hourly wage increase and a ten percent wage increase for lead employees.

"On behalf of the Eastern Territory Office and its members, I extend our congratulations and appreciation to District Lodge 4 Directing Business Representative Tony Provost and Business Representative Rick Compher, who is currently negotiating another Dyncorp service contract location representing 300 of our members," said General Vice President Lynn Tucker. "Special thanks go out to our determined members at these locations."
