8/3/05: Recently the Illinois Educational Labor Relations Board certified that IAM Local 822 is the collective bargaining representative on behalf of 23 new members at Liberty Community Unit School District #2 in Liberty, IL.
In the first certification, the Board certified that IAM Local 822 is the collective bargaining representative on behalf of the 18 bus drivers and bus monitor educational employees at the Liberty Community Unit School District #2. In the second certification, IAM Local 822 was certified as the collective bargaining representative for the 5 maintenance & full time and regular part-time custodians at the same location.
In addition, the IAM has petitioned for certification of the employee working within the Adams County Public Defenders office.
