It has been 10 years since Congress last raised the federal minimum wage. Over the same time frame they have repeatedly raised their own pay. When voters in six states voted overwhelmingly to increase the minimum wage last week they sent a clear message to Congress that it is time to finally raise the minimum wage.
The last time Democrats pushed for a minimum wage increase Republicans blocked it by tacking on another massive tax break for only the wealthiest families. The tables have turned and you can join in the fight to raise the minimum wage in the “100 Hour Battle”.
