October 1, 2008 - As concerns over the escalating Wall Street blunder continue, the senate is scheduled to vote on the bailout package this evening, the official time remains unclear. Reports from across the country are weighing in on the voter response to this modern day mishap.
Simply put, Americans are angry and demanding more from their congressional representatives. This kind of response as some insiders are saying could be the very reason the bailout package received a kick to the curb on Monday by the lower house.
While the issue is not likely to make or break an incumbent, it could very well land a few extra votes to their opposition. In an already fuelled political climate, any loss of votes could spell disaster.
As the debate continues in Washington, the debate continues on in communities across the country. Rising concerns of irresponsibility by Wall Street and the bailout itself by the current administration, voters are becoming increasingly closer to personal economic hardships, for some, never before seen.
