Leo Gerard, President of the Steelworkers Union, was in Washington, D.C. promoting policy aimed at strengthening the U.S. manufacturing sector. During a panel discussion at the Brookings Institute, President Gerard also championed the value of a good manufacturing job and its positive influence on the middleclass way of life.
