Members of IAM Local 392 in El Paso, TX, and District Lodge 160 at McChord AFB, WA, have ratified new three-year service contract agreements.
The LL 392 agreement with Defense Support Services LLC, Customs and Border Patrol was ratified with a 98 percent acceptance vote. Highlights include general wage increases of 3.5 percent the first two years, 3 percent the third year, and improvements in the vacation schedule and IAM pension plan. It also maintains 2010 medical, dental and vision plan rates for 2011, then 20 percent of the premium increase for 2012 and 2013.
The DL 160 agreement with CAE USA, Inc. was ratified with a unanimous acceptance vote. Highlights include a significant general wage increase, with further wage improvements for pilot, navigator and flight engineer instructors, as well as lead instructors.
“Both the negotiating committees worked tirelessly to represent theirmembership,” says IAM Aerospace Coordinator Ray Moffatt. “Through coordination and continued assistance from all involved, these negotiations were highly successful for our members and set a high standard to be matched in other Service Contract Act area contracts.”
