David French, Committeeman at Local Lodge 1943 in Middletown, OH was elected to his first term on the Madison School Board November 6th. French is employed at AK Steel in Middletown and has been a union member for 10 years. Workers at AK Steel voted to affiliate with the IAM in July 2006 after the Armco Employees Independent Federation (AEIF) members were locked out by the company.
