In December 56 workers at Clark Steel in Monroe, OH voted to join the IAM. Clark Steel produces metal structural studs as well as other products at 15 locations nationwide. The new IAM members will belong to Local 1943 in Middletown, OH.
Workers at Clark Steel have elected their negotiating committee and preparations are underway for their first contract negotiations. They will also be nominating and electing their Shop Stewards soon.
