IAM District 77 had a very important visitor a their meeting last evening and the debate party that followed. U.S. Senate candidate Al Franken joined our members and IAM Midwest Terrtitory General Vice President Philip J. Gruber.
Franken was cheered by our membership when he reinforced his support for passing the Employee Free Choice Act, Health Care Reform and for rebuilding America's crumbling infrastructure.
General Vice President Philip J. Gruber praised Franken saying, "He is a champion for our values and deserved the endorsement of the Minnesota State Council of Machinists."
