Longtime city councilman and IAM Local 1956 member Kirby Kruse was elected in his bid for mayor of Windom, MN. Kruse narrowly defeated his opponents in a hard fought race. Kruse said, "I'm humbled by the support I've received."
IAM District 77 Directing Business Representative Don Yetman praised Kruse saying, "Kirby Kruse works very hard and is tireless in his efforts to represent his constituents in Windom. He also is a first class trade unionist."
Kruse works at the Toro plant in Windom and is the president of IAM District 77 in Vadnais Heights, MN.
