September 17, 2009 The twelve B-Techs and Feulers at Transportation Maintenance Services in Bridgeton, MO voted to join the IAM recently. The Mechanics at that location already enjoy the benefits of IAM member.
Transportation Maintenance Services is part of Hogan Truck Leasing where our members work on rental trucks of various sizes.
"They were tired of their employer making promises that weren't kept," said District 9 Organizer Mike Hahn. "Our new members are interested in better wages along with the District 9 penison and health insurance."
Hahn praised everyone involved saying, "Everyone stood stong and focused on what they deserve." He continued saying, "I'd like to offer special thanks to Kenny Aycock and Joe Pearson our organizing team for their leadership and outstanding effort."
"We sincerely appreciate the hard work and dedication of District 9 DBR Tony Rippeto, Organizer Mike Hahn and the District 9 team. We welcome our new members into the IAM family and congratulate them on their win," said IAM Midwest Territory General Vice President Philip J. Gruber.
