September 3, 2009 Jobs, the Employee Free Choice Act, Fair Trade, and Health Care Reform discussions were welcomed when 11th District of Illinois Congresswoman Debbie Halverson visited the IAM Midwest Territory office in Naperville, IL this week.
Halverson a longtime friend of the Machinists Union, was very interested in current issues workers face and responded to questions from TCU International Vice President Joe Condo, Mechanics Local 701 ADBR Bob Keppler, Local 126 DBR Joe Pijanowski, District 8 BR Karl Sarpolis and the IAM Midwest Territory staff.
General Vice President Philip J. Gruber and AA Roger Nauyalis were unable to attend as both were involved in emergency meetings to protect and add jobs in the Midwest.
