Cora Smolinski, trustee of District Lodge 90 in Indianapolis, IN and grand matriarch of LL 1541, and an active 50 plus year member of the IAM has retired.

Cora has been a fixture in District 90 for many years and was the most familiar figure at the Indiana State Council of Machinists Conferences; where she convinced the attending Delegates of the importance of giving generously to the Machinists Non-Partisan Political League.
She recently celebrated her 90th birthday and has decided that it is time to pass the baton to the next generation. Cora has been mentor to more members than anyone can count. She will be very sorely missed by every Indiana IAM member and by many around the Midwest Territory.
