July 11, 2005 - Last week 37 supply and support workers at DynPar LLC, Tinker AFB in Oklahoma City, OK, voted to join the IAM. They will become part of Local Lodge 850 at Tinker, and will join the over 200 current members, and will be rolled into the current Service Contract labor agreement with the Local Lodge.
District Lodge 171 Business Representative Tony Bennett said "We couldn't have won this campaign without the help of employee Kristen Edwards, whose leadership was invaluable. I also want to recognize Local Lodge 850 Shop Steward Dewayne Skaggs, who spent a lot of time on the campaign."
Southern Territory General Vice President Bob Martinez said, "Congratulations to Business Representative Bennett for the win. District 171 and Local 850 continues to grow in Oklahoma because of the hard work by everyone in the District."
