How To Schedule a Training Class For Your Local Lodge From Your Territorial Education Representative

Thu. July 05, 2007

It is encouraged that whenever possible, training should be conducted by and or with the Local and District Lodge Education Committee. If your Local Lodge is in need of specialized ( see course description) training from the Southern Territorial Education Representative. Please consider the following;

1.     Determine Class Type

2.     Determine Duration of Class

3.     Determine Approximate Time Frame (dates)

4.     Determine Training Location

5.     Determine Approximate Number of Participants To Attend

Once these factors have been considered, the Local Lodge President & the Local Lodge Educator should present to the District Lodge Directing Business Representative and or the Servicing District Lodge Business Representative a request to have the training conducted.

The Directing Business Representative or Servicing Business Representative may make this request in written form to:

General Vice President Bob Martinez

Suite 1357

1111 West Mockingbird Lane

Dallas, Texas 75247

Once the training or assistance request letter has been received by the General Vice President, if the request is approved or denied, the Author of the request will be notified in writing. The Territorial Education Representative will then contact the requesting party and set the training session at once.

For Local Lodges unaffiliated with a District Lodge the training request letter may be forwarded by the servicing Grand Lodge Representative, if Local Lodge is not serviced.

By a Grand Lodge Representative, the Local Lodge President should forward the training request to the General Vice President.
