August 27, 2006 - Comair Flight 5191, a 50-seat commuter aircraft, crashed today during takeoff from Bluegrass Airport in Lexington, KY. IAM District 142 represents Comair’s Mechanics and is offering its Accident Investigation Team to assist Comair and the National Transportation Safety Board in their investigation to determine the cause of the crash.
