New Members Ratify First Contract
One Month after saying "IAM YES"
Thirty five (35) Flight Simulator Specialist at Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque, NM, ratified their first contract between Local Lodge #794 and Lockheed Martin.
August 31, 2006 the employees and were adamant to succeed this time around, not taking to chance the false promises that doomed their first attempt. An election to Organize was held on July 20th with the election being certified on July 31, 2006. One month to the day, these determined members, had a ratified agreement. President/Directing Business Rep. Ernest “Red” Dow, would like to welcome and thank the 35 new members. A special thanks goes to In-Plant Committee Gary Fisher, Yolanda Prior and Jonothan LaForte. Their tireless efforts gives their fellow Sisters and Brothers a “Collective Voice” to be proud of.
