District 160 Gets Two Wins

Wed. August 08, 2007

District Lodge 160, headquartered in Seattle, has registered our first two organizing wins of this tracking year, which began on July 1st.  GVP Pearson announced that “DL 160, which has been the perennial winner of our western territory organizing award, has started off the new tracking year with 2 outstanding victories.  They have led the way for our territory in the past, and are continuing to show that talent and hard work is the key to bringing the IAM to working families.”

The two wins are with nine Skagit Transit workers, who voted IAM yes on July 12th, and thirty-five workers at the Naval Facility in Bangor, Wa, who voted to join the IAM on July 31st..

Congratulations to DL160 DBR Don Hursey, Leif Jensen, Mike Goddard, Organizer Cris Tangonan and his entire organizing staff.
