District Lodge 190 held a Retirement/Holiday dinner December 8, 2007 at Francesco’s restaurant in Oakland, California. Over 150 members and their families attended the joyous event, which honored eight former representatives that had retired over the past several years: past Area Directors Vern Dutton and Glenn Gandolfo; Business Representatives Craig Andrews, David Asplin, Mike Cook, Manny Francis and John Moran; and Bob Miller, who served as full-time Secretary-Treasurer for LL 1546, as well as part-time S/T for the district. Current Directing Business Representative, Jim Beno, was the emcee.
Western Territory General Vice President Lee Pearson also took the opportunity to honor the retirees. “It was a privilege to attend this event, honoring such an outstanding group of individuals. Their services served the membership of District 190 well over the years, and their past leadership deserves to be acknowledged and commended. I wish each and every one of them a long, healthy and happy retirement.”
