District Lodge 160 was honored at the convention for its tremendous efforts in organizing. Led by DBR Don Hursey, the district has reached the goal of 250 new members every year since it was established.
Delegates from the Western Territory had their work cut out for them at the recent Grand Lodge Convention in Orlando, Florida. From establishing a new financial path forward for the IAM to a more efficient measurement for strike pay, the members were engaged, reviewed the related materials in detail, debated heartily and emerged with successful resolutions to these serious issues.
Also during convention, many districts and locals in the territory were honored for achievements in organizing, outstanding newsletters and websites, contributions to the Spanish leadership programs at the William W. Winpisinger Center and much more.
