10/2/2007 IAM Local Lodge 695 held it's second annual picnic September 9, at the Oddfellows park in Olympia. This park lies on the waters of Puget Sound and has a great view of Anderson Island with Mount Rainier behind it.
More than 50 people attended on yet another bright, sunny, warm day. How lucky can we get! The local supplied the refreshments with the rest being catered by The Ranchhouse BBQ. There was some very good food!
After eating we played Bingo and gave away union wear and Safeway gift cards to some very happy winners.
Many people expressed their enjoyment and their appreciation with the celebration. It was a good time to meet new faces and to visit with familiar ones. The many children in attendance also had a great time playing games and playing in or near the water.
