On Friday, April 19, 2007 Local Lodge 794 concluded negotiations with Lockheed Martin at the Kirkland AFB, NM location working on the Aircrew Training and Rehearsal Support Systems (ATARS) for Fixed and Rotary Wing Aircraft.

A meeting was scheduled and held on Saturday April 21, 2007 for the membership at this location to vote their decision and ratified the agreement.

Highlights of the Service Contract Act CBA

• 3 Year Agreement effective 23 April 2007 through 25 April 2010.
• GWI 4% 3.5% 3.5%.
• Lump Sum Wage Payment of $2000.
• Medical Insurance premiums for employee’s capped at 10% annually.
• Increased Chief Instructor pay additive from $1.50 to $2.00 per hour.
• Definitive language regarding Additional Training/Qualifications.
• Definitive language regarding Job Preferences and Selection.
• Significantly Improved Medical Plans and OPT-OUT OPTION.

Through coordination and continued assistance from all involved, these negotiations were highly successful for our members working under this collective bargaining agreement and set a high standard to be matched in other area contracts.

The knowledge and assistance of the IAM Aerospace Department assures that SCA contractors such as Lockheed Martin offer our members fair and like agreements across the IAM.
