The custom motorcycle built as a fundraiser for Guide Dogs of America (GDA) is finished! Now it’s headed to the 2007 Daytona Bike Week in Daytona Beach, FL, where more than 500,000 motorcycle enthusiasts will gather from March 2-11.

The IAM Bike Build motorcycle will be on display at the GDA booth at The BattleGrounds on North US 1 in Ormond Beach, across the street from Destination Daytona.

If you are going to Daytona, stop by the booth. GDA reps Grace & Steve Cohan would welcome help staffing the booth and talking to visitors. Contact them at 818-822-6573 to volunteer.

The one-of-a-kind, custom motorcycle will be raffled off on Nov. 17, 2007. There’s still time to buy a raffle ticket, get more information about the build and see photos of the building process by going to http://iamawbikebuild.com.

The bike build came about through the efforts of the IAM, Celebrity Build TV and Guide Dogs of America to create a unique and exciting fundraiser.

All proceeds from this fundraising effort will go directly to Guide Dogs of America for their mission to provide professionally-trained guide dogs to blind and visually-impaired individuals at no cost.
