october-national-breast-cancer-2015Breast cancer is a detrimental disease and takes the lives of more than 40,000 women every year. There are some ways to help prevent breast cancer, like eliminating alcohol consumption and living a healthy and active lifestyle. There are some warning signs and symptoms to look for that may occur if you have breast cancer.

Breast cancer is not 100% preventable, but early detection may allow enough time for it to be removed. There is a lower mortality rate associated with those who identify breast cancer early (while in stages 0/non-invasive – 2).  Schedule your annual mammogram today!
