Janice Tobak, LL 873, Wins Eleanor Roosevelt Award

Janice Tobak
Eleanor Roosevelt was a true social activist whose mission was to not only improve the lives of those living in this country, but to champion the cause for reform at the global level.  On the anniversary of her birth, the Democratic Party of Wisconsin seeks to recognize other women who’ve demonstrated the same hard-work, dedication and devotion to democratic principles as the award’s namesake.  This year, IAM Sister Janice Tobak is the honored recipient of the Eleanor Roosevelt Award.

Sister Tobak is a natural leader and deserving of this recognition.  She goes above and beyond to better serve her union and the community.  On issues that will improve the lives of her union sisters and brothers, as well as other working families, you can bet Sister Tobak will be there leading the fight.

Among those there to congratulate Sister Tobak was Wisconsin Lieutenant Governor Barbara Lawton and Joe Wineke, State Chair of the Democratic Party.
