Don Gresham

Brother Don Gresham is former Air Force and specializes in the Service Contract Act. He has been a member of the IAM since 1998, when his unit at Luke AFB, AZ elected to join the Machinists Union. His background is Air Force and Air National Guard, having flown both the F-4 Phantom and the A-7 Corsair II. At Luke, Don worked as an F-16 instructor.

Brother Gresham served as Chief Steward from 2003-2005, and as Chairman of the Negotiating Committee in both the 2003 and 2005 contract negotiations. Due to his networking skills, he was instrumental in bringing together five different F-15 and F-16 bases for Coordinated Bargaining in 2006: Luke, Tyndall (F-15), Kelly (F-16), Klamath Falls (F-15 Guard), and Tucson (F-16 Guard).

Appointed as a Special Representative in March of 2007, he joined the full time IAM staff as an Organizer, specializing in the Service Contract Act (SCA). In March of 2008, he was assigned by International President Buffenbarger to the newly created SCA Division in the Aerospace Department. In 2009 Gresham was instrumental in organizing  C-17 Instructors and Technicians across the country, and also a large unit at Nellis AFB that works in the backshops. In 2010 Don was transferred to the Western Territory staff where he continues to organize and negotiate contracts for SCA workers.
