Collective Bargaining — 8 Reciprocal transfer agreements permit members of one union to transfer to another union when changing their work jurisdiction without payment of a new initiation or reinstatement fee. On September 12, 1998, Official Circular 779 replaced Official Circular 717 which updated those unions signatory to reciprocal transfer agreements with the IAM and revised the procedure governing acceptance by transfer into our organization of members of other organizations signatory to reciprocal transfer agreements.
