Winners of the IAM Photo Contest
The IAM held a union-wide photography contest in 2001. Contestants shot pictures of IAM members on the job. The winning entries appear in Working 2002, the IAM calendar.

2001 Newsletter & Website Competition
Once each year, IAM newsletter editors and webstewards have a chance to make the news instead of just reporting it. The occasion would be the awards presentation at the annual Communications Conference.

With news breaking at internet speed, the IAM offers a new way to stay current, video-on-demand on its web site. “Members want the latest news. Video-on-demand lets them watch the news at their convenience,” said IAM President Tom Buffenbarger.
