Dear Members of the District 77 SPADA CBA,
On behalf of the District 77 SPADA bargaining committee, we would like to provide some information on the current state of negotiations. The parties have met for a total of 5 sessions so far. There is a tentative agreement on multiple language items at this point, and we have more dates scheduled next week to address the party’s economic proposals.
We want to inform everyone of a scheduled ratification vote for the membership to be held on April 27th at 9am. The ratification meeting will be held at The Mermaid Entertainment and Event center located at 2200 Mounds View Blvd, Mounds View, MN 55112.
Meeting Agenda:
- Doors open at 8:30 am
- Meeting starts at 9:00 am
The offer will be reviewed in its entirety and followed by questions from the membership. Once all questions have been answered we will be conducting the vote. Please arrive on time.
Voting requirements:
Only those present and eligible shall be allowed to vote.
NOTE: Members are unable to “early vote,” and we cannot allow “absentee ballot voting” per our IAM Constitution.
With future meetings still planned we cannot release an offer document at this time. As soon as negotiations have concluded, we will send out a mass message to all members that have subscribed to the text blast. If you know anyone that has not subscribed, please have them contact their Business Representative.
