Mayela joined the IAM Western Territory in January of 2024, as a Jr. Secretary. She was previously employed with the California Department of Water Resources as a payroll specialist. Born and raised in Sacramento, CA, Mayela has been married to her husband for 24 years. Has three awesome kids—ages 23, 20, and 16, also has two poodles who keep things interesting. She enjoys reading, family vacations, and quality time at home by the pool. She is proud to be part of the Union.
