Local 1297 Reaches Agreement At Pentair

Members of Local 1297 in Ashland, OH overwhelmingly ratified a new contract with Pentair recently.
The new accord calls for an increase in wages and changes in health care coverage. The negotiations centered around outsourcing and health care and under the new contract, the union received further review language in regards to outsourcing.
Pentair, one of Ashland’s oldest industrial companies was founded in 1870 and manufactures water systems for residential, commercial and industrial uses.
