Indiana Machinists Featured on Extreme Makeover

When the popular ABC-TV show ‘Extreme Makeover’ chose the Cowan-Brown family in Miami County, IN, for the program, IAM members of Local 2069 stepped in to help.
The IAM members, who work at Schneider Electric in Peru, IN, make electrical components that will be used to re-model the Cowan-Brown home. Schneider Electric worked closely with Local 2069 so that numerous members were able to volunteer and help with the project.
The Cowen-Brown family’s 6-year old daughter, Kori, is struggling with blood disease and painful polyps which doctors believe may be a result of environmental issues and mold in the family home. The young girl has endured 17 operations.
