Machinists members joined union painters, steelworkers and postal workers, among others, to rally on Capitol Hill against the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) and the Fast-Track approval process. Members of Congress spoke to the crowd of workers, explaining how fair trade is better than free trade. AFL-CIO leaders asked all those in attendance to contact their lawmakers about TPP and to make sure everyone votes in the November election. The rally was organized by CWA.
