Congress is pushing legislation that would “Fast Track” the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) trade agreement – the biggest free trade mistake since the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).
TPP threatens everything working families care about: democracy, the environment, the Internet and jobs. Like the deeply-flawed NAFTA, TPP promises job growth – but will instead export thousands of U.S. jobs to low-wage countries.

“Congress needs to hear your story,” said U.S. Rep. Marcy Kaptur (D-OH) in a video message to IAM members. “If you lost a job, had your pay cut or had manufacturing facilities close in your community because of unfair trade deals, send us your story. In the coming weeks, I and other members of Congress will go to the House floor to tell these stories, and put a face on unfair trade.”
