The Communications Department keeps members informed of union goals, programs, and issues important to working families. The department publishes the IAM Journal and iMAIL maintains a state-of-the-art web page; produces videos; and stays in contact with the local, national and international press. A staff of 9 is responsible for a wide range of communications programs and tools including the IAM Journal, W3 Classes, iMail, IAM Photo Contest, and the Newsletter and Website Contest.

One of the many goals of the IAM Communications Department is providing assistance to local and districts needing helpful resources in various ways.  We simply ask that before you request the Communications Department assistance you provide a common courtesy to your Territorial Communications Representatives and reach out to them for assistance first.
