IAM 5K RUN/WALK

WAIVER AND RELEASE:

I know that running is potentially a hazardous activity. I understand that I should not participate unless medically able. I assume all risks associated/involved with this race, including, but not limited to falls, contact with participants, the condition of the course, the road, and traffic or the effect of weather, including but not limited to high heat, humidity, extreme cold/wind, rain or other adverse conditions. In consideration of my being accepted into this race, I, on my behalf and on behalf of my heirs, executors, administrators and legal representatives, knowingly, voluntarily, and expressly, release, waive, discharge, and enter into covenant not to sue the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM), the William W. Winpisinger Education and Technology Center, or their sponsors, their officers, directors, employees, agents, successors, affiliates, assigns, heirs, executors and administrators for any and all claims, demands, causes of action, suits, liabilities, costs (including attorneys fees), expenses, judgments or other claims under Federal, state or local laws or under common law arising from any injury or damages (known or unknown), property damage or loss of any kind, including death, that I may sustain as a result of my voluntary participation in the race.
