2011 Spanish Leadership Programs Are Gearing Up

Don’t miss the opportunity to send Spanish-speaking members to the 2011 line-up of Spanish Leadership programs at the William W. Winpisinger Center, located in Hollywood, MD.
Early in March, the members of the Spanish Working Group met at the Winpisinger Center to plan for the year ahead, review adult teaching methods, and translate curriculum. “This group is planting seeds for the leadership of tomorrow’s IAM,” said Chris Wagoner, Director of the William W. Winpisinger Center.
Local Lodges are encouraged to send their enrollments early. Mark your calendars with the following dates:
Spanish Leadership I, May 8th – 13th, 2011
Spanish Leadership I, Sept 25th – 30th, 2011
Spanish Leadership II, Nov 13th – 18th, 2011
*Note: Spanish Advanced Leadership will be offered again in 2012.
The Spanish Leadership programs cover the same subjects included in the regular Leadership programs but all classroom instruction and materials are in Spanish. Enrollments in the Spanish programs do not count against a Lodge’s regular Leadership program allotment. Any member who has taken Leadership I, in either Spanish or English, is eligible to take Spanish Leadership II and is encouraged to enroll.
