On Wednesday September 13, the IAM debuted its new live webcast, Activate LIVE. If you missed the show, you can watch it here.
Activate LIVE will deliver new shows every Wednesday at 3 p.m., and will feature important news and interviews on subjects of interest to Machinists Union members and their families.
This week’s show included an interview with Marni von Wilpert from the Economic Policy Institute (EPI), who talked about a new EPI report on unions, workers, wages and employment policies.
Dan Jones of the Student Resource Center was also on the program and talked about a new IAM partnership with Eastern Gateway Community College that will allow thousands of IAM members the opportunity for a no-cost college education.
