U.S. Postal Service (USPS) will be hiring thousands of workers as a result of the new contract negotiated by the American Postal Workers Union (APWU). In many instances, the USPS must hire veterans before civilians, provided they are on the appropriate hiring register.
The Postal Service is posting the positions on its employment web page, www.usps.com/employment. Click here for the instructions provided by the APWU on how veterans can apply for the jobs.
