Guide Dogs of America (GDA) needs your help as well as that of your family and friends.
The IAM charity, which breeds, trains and provides guide dogs free-of-charge to sightless individuals, has been selected to receive a $25,000 grant from Explore Dogs/Dog Bless You, a philanthropic multimedia project that showcases the positive work of non-profits.
GDA must first help Explore Dogs/Dog Bless You reach their goal of 25,000 friends on Facebook before December 25, 2010. It’s called the 25/25/25 Challenge.
All you have to do is click this link http://www.facebook.com/exploredogs and hit “like” (you will need a Facebook account to be counted). With your help, GDA can further help blind and visually-impaired individuals pursue their goals of independence and greater mobility .
