The deadline to book a hotel room at the discounted rate for the 2014 Guide Dogs of America (GDA) Conference in Las Vegas is October 24, 2014. This year’s conference will be held November 20-22.
The deadline to RSVP for the 34th Annual William W. Winpisinger Charity Banquet is October 31.
The GDA event will kick off Thursday, November 20 with the 14th Annual Las Vegas – Hawgs for Dogs Motorcycle Ride and the Sporting Clay Event hosted by IAM Local 845 to benefit GDA. On Friday, November 21, the 34th Annual Guide Dogs Charity Golf Tournament takes place. This popular event sells out quickly, so make your reservations soon.
The 34th Annual William W. Winpisinger Charity Banquet will be held Saturday, November 22. Honorees include TCU/IAM National President Bob Scardelletti, IAM District 15/Local 447 Area Director Russell Gittlen and New England Motor Freight Chairman Myron “Mike” Shevell.

Guide Dogs of America was founded by a blind IAM member and provides guide dogs and instruction in their use, free of charge, to those who are blind and visually impaired.
